Description

The Sucking Jet Pump is a brake vacuum booster valve designed to ensure there is adequate vacuum assist in the brake system even when vacuum from the intake manifold is low. This part number is only used on the 1999+ M62TU V8 engines – E39 540i, E38 740i, E53 X5 4.4i/4.6is. The Sucking Jet Pump boosts vacuum for the brake system so if your brakes take additional pedal pressure stop then you might have a vacuum leak or a failed SJP.

This part is manufactured by an aftermarket supplier of European auto parts, including many engine components. While not carrying OEM status, this part follows the design of the original very closely and uses similar materials. An aftermarket part may even have the same TUV approval as its OEM counterpart.
