This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 12317616119 (12 31 7 616 119) as a new 210 amp alternator for 3/2012-later F22 M235i, F30 335i, F32 435i, F10 535i, F13 640i, F02 740i, X3/X4/X5/X6 35i with the N55 engine. Only for cars produced from 3/2012. These cars are rated to use either a 215a or 210am alternator (both within 2.4% of eachother in output amperage, making them interchangeable).
This is a NEW alternator. No core charge applies.

Among the items that can fail on any car is the alternator, which generates power to all electrical systems. If your alternator fails, your car will likely be left dead and powerless.
